Mad. Sq. Kids is the Conservancy’s free program for children that includes our Mad. Sq. Kids Summer Concert Series, Art in the Park, Kids Fest and Mad. Sq. Kids EXPLORE!
Mad. Sq. Kids Concerts are held in the summer months on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am. The Mad. Sq. Kids Summer Concert Series begins on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.

High Line
Silly Stories and City Stories with the New York Public Library
Tuesday June 21, 2001 10a – Join the New York Public Library and Friends of the High Line for lively, interactive, and funny tales shared by librarians from your local branch.
LOCATION – 10th Avenue Square All age FREE
High Line – Wild Wednesdays – 4pm
Families, join us for hands-on, nature-based fun on the High Line all summer long. Touch a wriggly worm, paint a butterfly wing, catch the wind, or grab a magnifying glass and go on a bug hunt with High Line gardeners and educators.
Wild Wednesdays begin June 8 and take place weekly throughout the summer. Each week will feature a new activity.
LOCATION – Chelsea Market Passage, on the High Line near West 16th Street

Creature Feature
The last Wild Wednesday of every month features a different live critter for young adventurers to touch, examine, and explore. This month, discover why these powerful red beetles are a gardener’s best buddy, and help us release 3,500 of them right into the park.
